Documents and downloads
Importing a corrosive chemical is mostly a paperwork exercise: your customs broker, your safety officer and your QC lab will each ask for something different. Below is what we issue, when we issue it, and how to get it before you commit to an order.
Before you order
| Document | What it contains | When |
|---|---|---|
| Specification sheet (TDS) | Grade, assay, impurity limits, particle form, packing weights, HS code, UN classification | With every quotation |
| MSDS / SDS | English GHS safety data sheet: hazards, handling, storage, first aid, transport classification | On request, with the offer |
| Sample certificate of analysis | A recent batch COA so your lab can see the typical profile before you buy | On request, with the offer |
| Loading plan | How a container is stacked: bag counts, rows and weight, so your warehouse can prepare | With the offer |
With every shipment
| Document | Issued by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Certificate of Analysis (batch) | Plant laboratory, against the batch number on the bags | Customs, QC and your own retained records |
| Packing list | Exporter | Bag count, net and gross weight, container and seal numbers |
| Commercial invoice | Exporter | Value, Incoterm and origin for customs clearance |
| Bill of lading | Shipping line / forwarder | Title document and proof of shipment |
| Certificate of origin | China Council for the Promotion of International Trade | Preferential duty under an FTA — Form E, Form B or another form depending on your country |
| Loading photos and seal number | Exporter, before departure | Proof of condition and stow, sent to you while the container is still at the plant |
| Third-party inspection report | SGS, BV, Intertek or CIQ — arranged on request | Independent verification for buyers who need it |
Why the batch number matters
Every COA we issue carries the batch number printed on the bags, and the invoice, packing list and bill of lading all describe the same shipment. That chain is what lets your customs broker clear the cargo without extra questions, and what lets us investigate a problem years later if a retained sample has to be checked. Practical advice on checking that chain at your end is in receiving and checking a shipment.
How to get documents
- Use the enquiry form and tick what you need in the message box — specification sheet, MSDS, sample COA or loading plan.
- Tell us the destination country: it decides which certificate of origin we arrange (Form E for ASEAN, Form B, or another FTA form).
- Need documents in a specific language or a company-specific format for your customs broker? Say so; we would rather adapt a document than have your clearance delayed.
Licences and certificates held by the plant
The production licences behind this product — the Safety Production Licence for sodium hydroxide and the Food Additive Production Licence — are listed on the quality and production page, and they are verifiable in China's public registers. We publish what we hold and nothing we do not: where a buyer needs a certificate we cannot show, we say so in the quotation.
Request a quotation
Send us your required grade, quantity and destination port. We reply with an indicative price, packing options and a specification sheet — normally within one working day.
